THE Eastern Cape Gambling and Betting Board has called for applications for a casino licence in Zone 2, which includes East London, King William’s Town and towns in Transkei and Ciskei.
The closing date for applications is May 7. The licence will be valid for at least five years depending on improvements, facilities and amenities. An exclusivity fee is payable equal to 5% of the total value of the development.
